336 acre oasis in north central Nevada, at an elevation 5,150 to 5,500 feet. it sits at the southern foothills of Currant Mountain that has a peak elevation of 11,500 feet. The ranch is located) 1.5 miles north of Currant Nevada, half mile east of Highway 379 and 60 miles southwest of Ely, Nevada. In northern Nye county.

The Angleworm Ranch is appropriately named for the abundance of earthworms that are found in any soil that is regularly watered.

The ranch consists of 336.583 acres in three parcels:

  • Parcel #1 consists of 160 acres of dry rangeland with forage, primarily greasewood, sagebrush and native rosebush.

  • Parcel #2 consists of 119.165 acres. This. parcel contains the homestead, out buildings, two reservoirs, native meadows of about 30 acres, orchards, alfalfa and irrigated pastures of approximately 65 acres under sprinklers.

  • Parcel #3 consists of 40.25 acres of part alfalfa and dry land pasture on the extreme west boundary of the property.

Water certificates included:

  • Certificate #58492: Tunnel Springs brought into property by 11,000' of buried pipeline.

  • Certificate #2061: Blind Springs also in same pipeline.

  • Certificate #1325: Angleworm, Snow (or Crystal) and Pastorini Spring.

  • Certificate #13193: Well which serves house and is spring fed "artesian."

Water flows: Springs flow from 2.5 to 5 cubic feet per second. Fluctuation due to natural conditions. Reservoir Storage: Upper Reservoir is 5 acre feet and Lower Reservoir is 7 acre feet. Irrigation system originates from lower Reservoir into a 12" pipe reducing to an 8" main to the bottom of the hill below the house. The 8" main runs 24/7-365. The irrigation system is installed 120 feet below source to fields with approx. 75 lbs of pressure at each riser head. There are approximately 2,600 feet of main line with 900'+ of 4" laterals with risers. One Quarter mile wheel line serves an alfalfa field of approximately 18 acres and a smaller wheel line of approximately 680' serves ten acres of alfalfa. All other irrigated pastures contain hand lines for each setting.

There are approximately 100 fruit-producing trees and over 300 shade trees. There are many fish in the reservoirs.  Water fowl, deer and antelope are frequent guests. A wildlife and bird watchers' paradise.
